Apple has announced significant changes to its business terms and developer policies for apps distributed within the European Union. These updates are intended to ensure compliance with the EU Digital Markets Act, reflecting Apple's responsiveness to regulatory requirements.

The revisions include provisions for alternative payment systems and alternative distribution models for apps available in the EU, offering developers more flexibility in how their apps can be monetized and delivered.

In addition, Apple has updated its Apple Developer Program License Agreement to incorporate these new terms. These changes will take effect starting October 1, 2026.
